GETTING STARTED
Slots conies in versions For Windows
95/98/NT and Macintosh. The Macintosh version supports any Power PC or higher
Macintosh running system 7.5 or higher. Masque Slots must be installed to your
hard drive,
Insert the CD in your CD drive and close it. on most Windows machines. this will begin the installation. For those machines which don’t install the game automatically:Windows Installation:
Enter Windows
Click on START from the task bar
Select RUN... from the pop-up menu
Type D:\SETUP in the dialog box that appears (Substitute correct drive
letter if it is not D:)
IMPORTANT: If your CD-ROM drive letter is not D.. substitute the dive letter of your CD-ROM drive. For example. if your CD drive is F., type F:\SETUP in the run box. if you arc not sure what drive letter your CD-ROM is, double click on My Computer and note the letter under the icon that reads Masque Slots.
Double-click on the CD-ROM icon labeled Masque Slots that comes up on the desktop. Double-click the installer application and press the Install button. Press Quit when finished.Macintosh Installation:
PLAYING THE GAME
Windows version: Click on Start and then go to Programs. Look for the Masque Slots entry and go to it, ‘the menu will expand out to the right. Click on the icon on the menu expansion for Slots.
Macintosh version: Click on the Masque Slots alias to run the game. If you do not see one, open the hard
disk and locate the Masque Slots folder. Open it and double click on the icon for the game you want to play.
MACINTOSH USERS
If you experience problems playing any of the games. it may be caused by a faulty installation or a resource conflict. Try trashing the current Masque Slots folder and re-installing the game. Next, hold the shift key down until the Smiley Face appears with the words "Extensions Off’.
GETTING STARTED -
The Select Machine Dialog allows you to choose a slot game for play from among the 50 available game machines. Use the OK button to select a machine and close the Select Machine Dialog. Double-clicking your mouse button also loads the machine you click on. You can only play one machine at the time.
Hotlist - You can create a Hotlist of your favorite machines by Adding and Delete machines using the hotlist button group. Show hotlist will display the machines you added to your hotlist, Show All (when you are displaying your hotlist) switches back to the display of’ all available machines.
Help - If you have highlighted a machine this button displays the Help Page for that machine. If no machines are highlighted, this button displays a window that describes the items in the Select Machine dialog.
Cancel - This will close tire Select Machine Dialog and return you to the machine that you were playing before you brought up the Select Machine Dialog
Exit Slots - This will immediately close the program
Stakes - Choose either Quarter, $1, or $5 stakes.
Note: The Blackjack machine is a $5 machine only.
Total Bankroll- This will display the total number of money that you have to bet.
Coins in machine - Select the number of credits you want to put in the machine. The maximum you can put in a machine at one lime is 500. Use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the number of starting credits, or highlight the number of coins and type in a different amount.
SLOT MACHINES
Show Bottom Panel - Some machines display some of their pay line information on a bottom panel. If the game window on your computer is too small to show the bottom panel, choose this option from the Commands Menu to see that machine’s bottom panel (or hold down the -:CTRL> and Ft keys). When you’ve finished looking at the bottom panel, click it with your mouse to return to normal game play.
Slot Machine Features and Pay lines - Many machines offer multiple payoffs, Wild! symbols and reels that will move to the pay line. To see what features the machine you are playing uses, click on the Help Menu. This will also give you a close look at the pay lines for that particular machine.
